Barkhane is a rich fragrance that begins with suave and generous notes of bergamot associated with a delicately spicy accord combining geranium, cumin and curry. Swirls of myrrh harmonize with Indonesian patchouli and immortelle. All in roundness, the vanilla then rises in a woody accord of cistus and oud associated with tonka bean and musks.

Inspiration
“ When Barkhane was created, there was a craze for the oud and high expectations from our customers. I didn't want to create yet another oud, I had to work on it, round it off… During a trip, I fell under the spell of Oman: its landscapes, the warmth, the beauty of the oases which appear like a mirage in the middle of the desert. This is where I discovered the barchanes, pretty crescent-shaped dunes. My woody oriental was there… . ”

Café Cabanel opens with a velvety note of coffee softened by lemon, tangerine and a hint of cinnamon. It then evolves towards a gourmet heart composed of a buttery, milky and almondy note delicately associated with a floral accord of Bulgarian rose and heliotrope. Its wake then reveals the voluptuousness of vanilla and tonka bean mixed with sandalwood and white musks. An addictive accord, spiced up with a touch of patchouli.

“ The coffee moment is without a doubt one of the essential rituals of my weeks! Rare are those where I don't have the opportunity to enjoy an espresso sitting on one of those rattan chairs so characteristic of French terraces. I wanted to transcribe in this perfume the mixture of scents that animates these places where the scents of coffee, chocolate, pastries but also woodwork and zinc that make up their decorations mingle. ”
