It opens with a rose-tinged bergamot, followed by notes of saffron, cinnamon, and clove. Its lingering trail features a blend of oud, patchouli, cedar, and cistus, softened by musky leather undertones. Kasar is deeply connected to Fontainebleau, my hometown. It captures the elegance of the royal residence, the serene strength of our magnificent forest, and the intensity of the horse, a vital symbol of this equestrian city. I wanted to honor this city I cherish, its natural beauty, and its rich heritage. A tribute to Napoleon, who made Fontainebleau his primary residence, Kasar was one of his favorite Arabian thoroughbreds. Alongside perfumer Jean-François Latty, we aimed to create a mysterious, intense, and captivating fragrance that reflects the splendor of the horse and the warmth of life in Fontainebleau.
